Dr Foster wins Best Town Pub at the Great British Pub Awards 2026

We’re proud to announce that Dr Foster at Gloucester Docks has been crowned Best Town Pub at the Great British Pub Awards 2026.

Our team collected the award in Leeds on Wednesday, September 23, just two years after we reopened our waterside pub. It’s a huge moment for everyone at Dr Foster - and one we’re delighted to share with our customers and the Gloucester community.

National recognition for our Gloucester Docks Pub

When we reopened in 2024 as part of ART Hospitality, our ambition was to create a welcoming pub that Gloucester could be proud of. Somewhere for a Sunday roast with family, dinner with friends, a celebration or a pint overlooking the docks.

Since then, our team has worked hard to make that ambition a reality. Winning Best Town Pub recognises the care and commitment Ross, Liam, Josef and everyone at Dr Foster bring to the pub every day. We’re incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved together, and excited to keep building on it.
